Most people feel or think that in order to eat a well balanced whole food plant based diet or vegan diet is expensive. Well, I am here to give you a little help and to show you that it doesn't have to be expensive if you are sticking to fresh ingredients, and minimal junk or processed items.
For starters, you want to start by purchasing your leafy greens, fruits vegetables, nuts, and seeds. This will be the basis for majority of your meals. You can also purchase pasta of choice, chickpeas, mushrooms, jackfruit etc...... which all makes excellent meat substitutes. when shopping try to stay away from the processed vegan mock meats, junk food and drinks, these are the items that tend to run your grocery bill up. these are the food items that are most expensive and the least nutritional. remember just because its vegan doesn't make it healthy.
